In order for children in school to effectively learn, it is essential for them to have desks and books. As a result, it is crucial to provide the gift of education.

When classrooms lack an adequate number of desks, children face the dilemma of either squeezing onto a bench that is meant for two or three students with five or six others or resorting to sitting on the floor. This discomfort greatly hinders their learning experience. Just imagine sitting on the floor, surrounded by fellow students, enduring the annoyance of dust mites biting you, attempting to write on your lap, and straining your neck to see the board. It is an incredibly challenging situation.

Moreover, children face difficulties without access to textbooks. Unfortunately, many classrooms do not possess any books at all. This makes it exceedingly difficult for students to comprehend and keep up with what the teacher is saying, ultimately leading to a decreased likelihood of acquiring literacy skills.

To address this issue, we are providing desks and books to support children in their journey of learning. For the first time, young students have the opportunity to have age-appropriate reading materials available to them, written in both English and their native language. Additionally, we are offering training and support to teachers, ensuring that they can provide the best education possible to their students.

The impact of these resources cannot be exaggerated—the ability to read opens up a world of possibilities for children, significantly increasing their chances of successfully completing their education.
